Auto Gearbox Limp Mode

Please help,

Guys I have a 06 plate galaxy tdi auto , the problem is as soon as I start driving she starts fine but when changing gears she sometimes changes up with an instant loss of power and goes into limp mode., if I quickly turn off the ignition and straight back on she will go back to normal running , sometimes she will run fine all day and other times it happens every 5 mins ,

Any ideas where to start ?

Check the fluid level and condition generally is a good start. Though if this is a mkIII you might do better in the mk3 section of this board. If its a mk2 then theres info in the faq section.

Had exactly these symptoms - turned out to be the injector wiring loom - get the codes read it should show up (Im assuming its one of the last Mk2s
